In April 2015 we were taken on by Georgina Capel, formerly of UK literary agency Capel & Land, to create the branding and new website for her new venture Georgina Capel Associates Ltd. As Capel & Land were parting ways, it was imperative for Georgina Capel Associates Ltd to make an impact with both her brand and her website.
Initially we designed the logo for the company. The brief was to keep it clean, simple and classic. After pitching several ideas, we progressed a couple until we came up with the final design:
Once the logo was signed off, we moved on to the website. The old website looked dated, wasn’t user-friendly and had poor search engine optimisation. It wasn’t responsive either, something that was causing issues for visitors wanting to look at the site on devices other than a desktop or laptop computer.
Working closely with the company, we honed a design that was fully responsive, offered better exposure for their fantastic roster of clients, and was primed for search engine optimisation making the website easy to find. The website we built was large in scale with each client having their own profile page and each of their books having pages of their own.
The website was launched in June 2015 and we provided training for Georgina Capel Associates Ltd to enable them to update and maintain the website themselves, something they hadn’t been able to do with their previous website.
